 Step 1: Consultation

This is where your journey begins at MBT Beauty. We will sit down and have an in-depth consultation with you before every procedure.

During this consultation you will tell us what your ideal brow looks like, how you usually draw your brows and show us any pictures of brows that you admire.

Combining your preferences with our experience is how we craft the perfect brows just for you!

Step 2: Shape & Pre-draw

After the consultation we will shape & design your new brows.

  • First, we measure out all of the points on your face with a ruler to ensure you have balanced & symmetrical brows.
  • Then we design an eyebrow shape that combines the information you gave us during the consultation with the measurements we collected.
  • After we are finished with our design, we will grab a mirror and go over the shape with you to make sure you’re happy with everything.

All of this is done in pencil so that we can easily make any adjustments to the eyebrow design before the procedure starts.

 

 

Step 3: Color

Once you approve the shape of your new eyebrows, we will select the color of your new brows.

If the exact color of your eyebrows is not immediately available, we will mix together different hues until the color we get is a perfect match!

Step 4: Numbing

To ensure your absolute comfort during the procedure we will apply a topical numbing cream for 20 minutes before we begin your procedure.

We place it on top of the outline of your new brows and cover it with saran wrap to seal in the numbing cream. 

After 20 minutes, we will peal off the saran wrap and move to step 5!


Step 5: Microblading

This is where the magic happens.

We’ve worked with you to find the perfect shape, design, and color of your new eyebrows. Your skin is numb and ready to go. All you need to do is lay back, close your eyes, and relax.

Our artist will open up a sterile needle in front of you, dip it into the colored pigment you approved, and start working on your brows.

The microblading procedure consists of injecting pigment into the second-layer of your skin (dermis), in the shape of hair strokes conforming to your pre-approved eyebrow design. These hair strokes look exactly like real eyebrow hairs!

Numbing cream is re-applied throughout the procedure as our artist works on each brow so that you are never in pain and always comfortable.

(Many clients use this time to take a nice nap!)

Step 6: Reveal

After your microblading procedure is complete and your brows are cleaned up, the big reveal happens!

We will show you your new brows and ask if there is anything you would like to modify or if you have any questions before walking out the door.

Your satisfaction is our ONLY concern, we are happy to accommodate you however we can.

Step 7: Touchup 

Microblading is a semi-permanent beauty procedure, that means it’s not 1-and-done, multiple appointments are required to achieve your perfect brows.

Sheila Bella, a very prominent microblading artist describes your touch ups as: “Think of this as the second coat of nail polish, the first one is alright, but the second one seals the deal.” We can’t explain it any better than that!

Your touch up session is typically done 1 month after your first microblading appointment. We will schedule your touch up date after we finish your first appointment.

During this touch up session you will have had 1 month to test out your new brows and we will go over any questions, comments, or concerns you may have. For 99% of our clients, this touch up session is when we go darker, bigger, and double-down on your original eyebrow design.

This Touch Up session is usually about 1/2 the time of your original session.

After this session your brows will be set in place for up to 3 years before full fading away. We recommend coming back once a year for your annual color boost, but that’s up to you!

(RECOMMENDED) Step 8: Annual Color Boost

The best thing about microblading is that it is semi-permanent!

You aren’t stuck with one design (like a tattoo) for the rest of your life, all of our pigments are extremely high quality organic pigments made to gradually fade away over the course of 2-3 years.

With that being said, we highly recommend you come back for a color boost once a year.

While your brows won’t completely fade for at least 2-3 years, over the course of 1 year they will get lighter and the annual color boost will ensure your brows are in tip-top shape 24/7/365!

Not only that but at your annual color boost appointment we can also modify your eyebrow design however you like (eyebrow styles change too!)
